this is my cacti bed, changing for fall. These red beauties are the part of the cacti that was in bloom *the yellow flowers* They will be the new growth for next year. The deer love these red *pods* they think they are berries or something....plus they do not have stickers or thorns like most cacti do. Isn't it amazing that even the things that we think would never change color, and all the sudden you can see fall is everywhere around. The leaves are starting to fall ( however I do not think there is going to be much color from the leaves NO RAIN) some of the nut trees are starting to turn a little bit...maybe keeping fingers crossed that fall is beautiful as it is in years past, *it is my favorite time of the year*
Bob and I are doing great, he goes to the Dr. tomorrow for follow up....Keep your head up baby and I will kick their tail ends if they hurt you! (smiles Bob knows me)
