Fingerprint Friday

Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

Isaiah 40:31

King James Version (KJV)
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I think that this could be a lesson to us all that we should mount up with
wings as eagles!!!

my eyes are opened

Thank you to a fellow blogger for opening my eyes!!!

When reading my blog post from other bloggers my eyes were opened very wide,

First, of all we complain about every day life and there is always somebody
who is far worse than we are.  The complaining never stops, ie: its too hot, too cold, too much traffic, not enough money.  Something is always wrong, we are never happy always bellyaching about what our problems are.

Have you ever thought?
You have a home? you have food? a car? family? your health?
and the person on the street who has major health problems is struggling to
get even a sandwich.  Then you have the homeless vet, who is a vet from
the Korean or Vietnam era living in a box with only the clothing on his back?
and we complain about not having everything that you want?

The blogger that opened my eyes has major health problems and yet she is not
a complainer (she completely puts her trust in Jesus) and we stump our 'toe and it is a major crisis....I am not one to complain about things in life, I will
never again complain about simple little life ailments and I am grateful
for what I have vs what I do not have.

I open my eyes every morning to beautiful mountains all around me, and still people complain about where they live....God put the beauty here on earth for us to enjoy.....SO PLEASE STOP AND STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES
before it is too late.

Mark 12:30-31
30) "And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all you soul and with all your mind and with all your strength"
31) The second is this:  "you Shall love your neighbor as yourself."
There is no other commandment greater than these."

just an update, Gilligan has been MIA for 3 days I am so scared it isn't even
funny.  Nobody has heard from him, and since his family doesn't care for me
they wouldnt call me.

I did talk to his daughter and she has heard nothing either.  The last communication
was Friday afternoon.

Thank you in advance

We Will Never Forget

These pictures first of all are not mine, I am only using them for the blog.
I am in no way trying to steal or take credit for them.
It is hard to believe that it has now been 11 yrs since our world came crashing to the ground.

At 8:50 am we were all peaceful, getting ready to start out busy day ahead of us
busy for a Tuesday (which today is now Tuesday)  at 8:52 the most
horrible/tragedy in our history happened, oh those people screaming, crying, and the
ones on the flight how they must have felt knowing they were facing death....the guy falling
from the tower.....all of these are so horrifying.   The person on the phone in the magic
flight telling wife/girlfriend he is really scared and knows something big
is happening, but he loved her.   I felt like I was there, stayed glued to the tv for the
next couple of days This is one of my favorite songs. Yes I am sure we all remember the exact place we were all at, and rushing to the phone lines Lets all have a moment of silence on 9-11-01 at 8:52 am here is a very powerful bible verse that is appropriate We have a promise from the Lord: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NIV). Please remember to pray that God will heal our nation
On an early September morning; Hatred reared it's ugly head. Terrorism struck Manhattan; It's wake left thousands dead! It truly was a miracle ... How many lives were saved. Over-shadowed by the horror; Of the war-like rubbled grave! Time seemed frozen, hope was lost; For loved ones left behind. Trying to hold onto their faith, Praying, "God give us a sign!" Uncovered from the wreckage; A sight that seemed unreal. A cross that stood 'bout twenty feet ... From twisted beams of steel!

9-11-01 NEVER FORGOTTEN
