365 days of pictures day 87 (Spider)

Bob and I were out trying to decide what to do for blogging today
and around the corner is this (as spiders go) beauty  these are typical here in OK (black and yellow garden spider) not hazardous if they bite but will bite if harassed

Bob thought it was pretty cool, right after I took the pic, it started bouncing as it felt the vibration from me moving that was kind of funny.

We have seen lots of different critters and such around here since Bob has been here...Opossum, skunks, squirrels, raccoon  even an armadillo,  tree frogs, cicadas, locust, walking sticks.
Wonder that he hasn't decided to leave the country side. (reminds me of Green Acres)

We are doing wonderful, Bob is recovering good, just the collar bone is painful.

Hope everybody is having a great week so far.

365 days of pictures day 86 "The Beef is here!!"

Driving down to mom n dads tonight,  "The BIG BOY"
he is grazing on the top picture just like a normal bull or cow, the bottom picture he is slobbering and pawing the ground (notice he is looking >>across the road at another bull) oh no this look like trouble in paradise.
(This is all over the ladies)
Lord, only know that fence isn't going to keep that big guy in there as he probably weighs 2500-3000 lbs easy!!!

I wonder if he is friendly or do we take heed...I sure in the heck wouldn't want to meet him in the dark...no way Jose!!!

...I am thinking (there is lots of dinner, I am only kidding  he is used nothing but studding out the ladies and produces some beautiful offspring.

Hope that everybody is doing great and your Monday is good!!!

365 days of pictures day 83

Just a reminder to our pow/mia  you are never forgotten.  Please remember to pray for the people who are still missing (some have been missing since wwII)  not far from this sign was a soldier who had been missing since 1968 who returned to the US in 2009 (I know there is a relief with his family knowing that he/she is now here on the US grounds)

There are thousands everyday killed, wounded.

I hope everybody has a great weekend.

Thank you to all of the vets that I know.

Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of god
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of god
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of god

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? Here's how to join in.

1. Blog with your interpretation of God's fingerprints. Be sure to link back here so others can find the entire list of participants!
2. After you've posted your blog, sign the Linky below. Have fun exploring the other links as well!
Please only sign in if you're participating. Hopefully this will make us look at things through fresh eyes throughout the week!

The Oklahoma City Memorial (over looking the reflection pool and the placed chairs)

This was such a tragedy that happened in 1995 I think I found the perfect verse to go along with it

Numbers 35:15-17

New International Version (NIV)
15 These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites and for foreigners residing among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.
16 “‘If anyone strikes someone a fatal blow with an iron object, that person is a murderer; the murderer is to be put to death. 17 Or if anyone is holding a stone and strikes someone a fatal blow with it, that person is a murderer; the murderer is to be put to death.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

One Day At A Time

Somebody is trying to tell me something~~~ in higher power than what I have.

First yesterday I was surfing on Facebook and Bethe has this video there.  In the shower this am I was thinking what am I going to blog on...and out of the blue it hit me like a ton of bricks  ONE DAY AT A TIME.   I get into the car and what song is on the old country radio station...One Day At a time  Talk about giving me goose bumps.  I came to the conclusion it is what we are going through that we need to slow down and take things  One Day At A Time.  Talk about powerful words. />I think God is telling me that I need to start today and take each day as they come, no planning ahead.  .  (If you want to make God laugh tell him you have plans)

Do you follow your heart when all the signs are there?

Hope all of you are doing well and that your week is going great.

Blessings to all of you!!!

We got to OKC and Bob told me he needed to go back to car,
To make it short Bob had a very bad seizure, there was nobody around but by time he started convulsing there must have been 20 people helping while I was on with 911. 911 people were very nice. The seizure lasted 4 minutes, I have never been so scared.

The paramedics arrive Bob is still out. Ugh! I get to the hospital and Bob is awake asking what happened? I had to explain, were waiting on ctscan now.
Thank you all
Will keep posted

365 days of pictures day 78

This was taken this afternoon here in the living room
the temp was 104 (index was 110) outside way to hot to be out and about.  We did have a few stops nothing time consuming.  We spent the afternoon being lazy.  But took some time to get a few pictures in :)

It is so hard to believe that we have been together almost 2 weeks,  wow does time fly when you are having fun.

Tomorrow (Sat) we are going to OK City so that Bob can see the memorial from the OKC bombing.  It is very serene and tranquil, I will be taking tissues as it affects me that way every time I see it, also may take a stroll down river-walk in the evening.
Were going to rent a hotel up there so not have to drive back
then Sunday we will come back here.

Hope that all of you are having a great week, and that the weekend is even better.

Blessings to each of you

OK now I am going to go (to the left side) and vent instead of my normal post

Nothing to vent about Bob and I (just so we are all clear) I love that man with all of my heart and soul, and yes I would die for him!!!

Now,  how do I approach this?  a so called "friend" tells me "I am so happy that you are happy" then talks out of the left side of mouth.  (Deep down not happy) but envious for what we have.  Now, so called friend has caused lots of problems for Bob and I in the past So "friend" tells me delete me from Yahoo & Facebook.  (the only reason is on facebook is due to gift sending)
Over the weekend Saturday so called friend has "somebody" send me an IM on yahoo telling me so called "friend" passed away at a certain time, I thought this is weird I just heard from "friend" an hour ago on yahoo.  Sunday, I am on yahoo (mobile) and so called "friend" is online...but how can you be online if your have passed?  so called "person" now says I had "somebody" lie telling you that...

Now, so called "person" knows how I feel about liars, and I know that so called "person" reads my blogs and will know exactly who I am talking about~~~  Bob isn't too happy about this either, as he knows how said person likes to lie and cause trouble.

and this is what happens when you lie

I am sorry for this post, but had to get it off of my chest, before I exploded!!!!

Blessings to you all!!

these were too good not to pass along

When I woke up this morning, I asked myself, "What is life about?" I found the

answer in my room...the fan said, "Be cool." The roof said, "Aim high."

The window said, "See the world!" The clock said, "Every minute is precious."

The mirror said, "Reflect before you act." The calendar said, "Be up to date."

The door said, "Push hard for your goals." The floor said, "Kneel down and pray"

When u carry a Bible, the devil gets a headache. When u open it, he collapses.

When he see's u reading it, he faints. When he see's u living it, he flees.

And just when ur about 2 re- post this, he will try & discourage u.

I just defeated him

Hope everybody has a great week,

we are under severe drought here as well the once pretty green grass, shrubs are dwindling away slowly but surely
God will make a way for us to over come such drought.  We are on mandatory water rationing, and EMERGENCY to start conserving energy or will start having rolling blackouts..in this 100 temps that will be horrid.

3 generations  the youngest one in the uniform is my nephew Dax he is now 16 going to go into the Marines, he took home several awards tonight.  My brother Ronnie is in the plaid ----was never in the service due to he got very bad RA in his knees at a young age and being  that my other brother is mentally challenged they didn't take Ronnie so that he could have an heir.   Dad is in the blue coveralls and was in the Korean War.
I am so proud of my family (whether they served or not) know if I can ever get my niece and her baby here we will do 4 generations with mom
