Luke 4:40
At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.

This beautiful sunset was taken at my parents with my camera, not my phone
Isn't God awesome?  I caught it just at the right time and caught part of the silver lining.
God continues to bless me every single second of every single day.

something fun and cute

These are some fun things that I found on Glitterfy.com  they have all  kinds of pretty stuff.  .

365 days of pictures day 65 (Bougainvillea)

This beautiful bloom caught my eye (it is a bougainvillea)
They are not native to OK, (they have to go inside in the winter)  however when I lived in South TX they are native there, and little did I know this beautiful flowering bush is covered with thorns.  I found out the hard way.

Bougainvillea 2] is a genus of flowering plants
native to South America from Brazil west to Peru and south to southern Argentina  In 1768 when Admiral Louis de Bougainvillea began his long journey to the Pacific Ocean and discovered the vine that now bears his name, it was a botanical highlight of the voyage.

They have a small smell but the hummingbirds love them.

Hope all of you are staying cool if you are in the "2011 heatwave"  we have been breaking records since the 30's here...

365 days of pictures day 64 (beautiful)

I took this beautiful sunset picture on the way home from my parents tonight.

It is 8:30 at night and 101* outside, but this beautiful sunset reminds me that God is still in control.

OK has some of the most beautiful sunsets *mostly fall and spring*  I was in awe with it being as warm and to still see this beauty.

Bucket List Day 5 (Tombstone AZ)

Tombstone AZ (a lot of history here)  click the link below for info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tombstone,_Arizona

I AM only borrowing the pics for the sake of my blog!

Tom McLaury, Frank McLaury, and Billy Clanton, killed in the O.K. Corral shootout, are buried in the town's Boot Hillcemetery

The cemetery is quiet interesting, with the sayings on the tombstones
how in the world did these people come up with these things that long ago.

Wyatt Earp lived until 1929 only a few months before his 82 birthday he was born March of 1848.  He lived in Dodge City and moved to Tombstone in the 1860's.

The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral was a roughly 30-second gunfight that took place at about 3:00 p.m. on October 26, 1881 in TombstoneArizona Territory of the United States.
Wow 30 seconds that is impressive!!!

It looks like a very interesting place that would be fun and full of history.

Hope everybody is staying cool :)

This is inside the beautiful BOK center downtown Tulsa, This is where they play (arena football, hockey, basketball and of course concerts)
built  in 2005 seats 25k  Tulsa residents are not happy because of the money spent and no more seating.

On the inside it is so pretty these lights go all the way around, from the time it starts changing colors where I was standing it takes almost 4 minutes to make them all the same color all the way around  something really cool would be to see rainbow :) but they only show one color at a time, this pic was blue but I caught it when it was turning from blue to purple ;)

The outside is pretty as well all across the front there are the prettiest blue lights on the trees they look like they are shooting stars from Heaven.  I was very fortunate to see this beauty both from the inside and out!

This is all man made but the beauty comes from God

I hope everybody is doing well and staying cool in the heat wave of the century!!! (we are breaking records from the middle 30's)

365 days of pictures day 60 my new flower bed

This is my newest contraption.  This is where the dogs were before moving them down to the shade (they love it down there plus its bigger)

The dolly is 150 + years old used for the old pot belly stoves.  This thing weighs close to 60 lbs in itself.  Somebody gave it to my parents in 1955 and he told dad it had been in his family then for over 100 years.  The wheels had no rubber on them, I couldn't imagine moving a stove with this thing much alone the dolly itself.

The grass in the middle of the rocks (Tiger Grass <hence the name>) it is in the pompass grass family. the smaller greens are some small shrubs.

The lighthouse, is a solar paneled light...the whole top lights up its pretty neat when it works,....I think the sensor has gone out on it.

It is 107 with the index and there is a slight chance of rain for the weekend, please pray we get it...our water tables are dropping an average of 3 feet per day.   (meaning the lake, reservoirs, water supplies)  we are under mandatory water conservation (meaning no use of unnecessary water)  What I have animals that need water...they get fresh water sometimes 4 times a day.

Hope all of you are staying cool :)

365 days of pictures day 60 downtown Tulsa

This is some of the skyline for downtown Tulsa, there are many more buildings but this seemed like a good shot area :)  Tulsa's history comes from oil.  In the 20's Tulsa had a race-riot, there is a 76 foot, 43,500 pounds in weight, is a statue of a Golden Driller (He has withstood Tornadoes and turbulent oil markets)     There are several famous people from Tulsa  (paul harvey, ,many many more    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa,_Oklahoma  (if you want to learn some more history on Tulsa  click that link.    Tulsa has indoor football (arena football) (hockey) (basketball)(baseball)    There are lots of people relocating to the Tulsa area

On Your Heart Tuesday

Shanda over here at  http://www.shandaoakleyinspires.com/  is hosting a new blog hop I think we all could use the inspiration of this hop.  See you all there

Welcome to On Your Heart Tuesdays

This blog hop has been dedicated to sharing what is on your heart with others:
How has God been working in your heart lately?
Are you joyful, encouraged, broken hearted, burdened for something?
What is your heart’s desire?
What lessons have you applied to your heart and life?
What fills your heart with joy?
What has made you laugh, or cry?
"On Your Heart Tuesdays"  link will open on Monday evenings and stay open through Friday. I can't wait to hear what you have to share!!
Grab my button and put it on the bottom of your post to direct people back to read more.

God has been dwelling in my heart about the most wonderful person in the world, I know how God wants us all to be happy and he is leading me to the man I met little over 3 yrs ago.  There are some windows that have opened up and things are a lot more clearer now.

I am very joyful, and through the love of God I am very encouraged I am not broken hearted ( I am a "live my life to the fullest" type of person)  as for burdens the only thing is we are desperately needing rain.

My heart's desire is to be with my love and start our lives together as God has intended it to be.  With my strength and love for God it will keep me strong.

The lessons that I have applied to my Heart & Life....I am a very compassionate person, Never ever take life for granted (live like today is your last day)  I always have room for that special person, and in general I am a very good listener.

The Gift of our Fathers Love is what feels my heart with Joy, The unconditional love that God gives to me makes me very joyful.  The friendship(s) I have made through blogging

Things that make me laugh or cry,   a funny movie makes me laugh, being with the one you love kidding around, making each other laugh.  Something that makes me cry is when I am listening to Gospel music and hearing certain songs brings tears to my face.  Loneliness makes me cry.  Sometimes I get my feelings hurt very easily (I have a very soft heart) and I cry.

Thank you Shanda for hosting this hop.  Looking forward to reading everybody's answers.

Blessings

Playing Tag

Playing Tag!
My world has been unbelievably out of control lately and my poor blog has suffered.

My friend Donna recently tagged me (and seven of her bloggy friends)...but I've been a bad bloggy friend and didn't get it posted in a timely manner :-(

The first thing I need to do is thank Donna for thinking about me - I was so the little girl that was chosen last for kick ball - so I have to admit, I giggle a little when I get picked for anything. Be sure and jump on over and visit Donna at The House On The Corner, for an amazing blog.

Secondly I need to answer the following questions.....

1. Do you think you're hot?
We have had 45 days now of over 95+ and the month of July everyday has been +105  (I am sitting inside the house where it is a nice comfy 76*) looking forward to the end of July and August as this is when we usually get this heat.

2. Upload a picture or wallpaper that you are using at the moment.

This is the picture I use for Facebook
and the bottom is the wallpaper on my phone
its an angel android :)

3. When was the last time you ate chicken?
I eat chicken every chance I get, I like it with lemon pepper and grilled.

4. What was the last song you listened to.

5. What were you thinking while doing this?
reading blogs
6. Do you have any nicknames? What are they?
I have several, Ginabean, Motormouth, Squirrely, Tigertamer, Rainbow
Sissy (my dad calls me this) I have lots more but these are my most favorites.

Lastly ~ I'm passing this along to eight of my bloggy friends.

I wanted to say thank you to some of my new followers so I'm passing this to.......

365 days of pictures day 57 church bells

Today on my outting I decide to get a picture of these church bells, they always fascinate me, but seems when I pass there is always too much traffic to turn left.  And when I can  turn right I always pass them by.

I know at certain time they play full hymnals it is so peaceful to hear the bells ringing.  they ring every hour also I believe it is the 1/2 hour when they play the hymns.

Bucket List Day 4 Mackinac Island

We are going back to Mackinac Island, Yes we have been here before, but it is so pretty and eye catching,  cant get my mind off of it.

(THE PICTURES I AM ONLY USING THEY ARE NOT MINE I AM  JUST BORROWING)

The couples are just some various couples after their weddings, that i really  like,   The one in the phone booth, perhaps they are calling their parents needing more money?

The couple in town are enjoying a tender moment scrolling the streets of town.

The 3rd couple seem to have walked to the water watching a beautiful sunset and the Spirit of God came across them, they are lifting their hands to Heaven,

The hole in the rock, that is one of the most awesome sights one could imagine  (this is where I would like to get married on the rock)

Then afterwards, a stroll through town via horse drawn carriage how romantic is that?

Staying at the Grand Hotel (that is a pretty place for a wedding as
well,

Hope everybody is doing well and that if you are in the heat, you are staying cool.  Don't forget to ck on your pets and the elderly.

365 days of pictures day 56 walking stick

was going out to water Scout n Wiggles and I knew that there is usually a "family" of walking sticks that live here...so I start looking and guess who I found?
this one is a small one...I am hoping later this evening when it cools some to find the big one.

I really have to look for them in and amongst my flowers as they have the tendency to look like a stick.

Hope everybody is surviving the heat if you are where there is hi heat, we are under excessive heat warnings until next Wed.

365 days of pictures day 54Pepper doggie

this is Pepper Anne (she is 9 yrs old) she is loving the inside life, now that the white boxer (wiggles is what i officially named her) she and Scout get along really well.

Pepper and kitty get along really well, in fact when I came home from town with my mom they were laying together :) how cute is that?

She is full blood Llahsa Apso  she looks scroungy again its time for another hair cut :)  they did a bad job cutting her last time, on her face she usually looks like a teddy bear in the face.  I will be taking her to her regular groomers this time I didn't before as I couldn't get her in for a while.

I will try to get a pic of Scout (he is camera shy) but he and wiggles are like best friends now ;) only took me 2 days to get them to be friends..Pepper on the other hand is pure 100% alpha female...need  I say more?

Hope everybody is surviving the heat, here it is 10pm and still 102 outside, this morning the low was get this 97 (for the low)  something isn't right here...now out of 11 days in July 10 have been above 100 and June 29 days of 30 were above 90.  And get this all 10 days have exceeded 104+  we are not used to this hot of climate.....I hate the cold weather and not complaining about the "warm" but its just flat out HOT!!!  we are in desperate need of rain, so please pray we get rain.

365 days of pictures day 52 wiggles

so on my way home from my parents tonight sitting in the road is this beautiful white boxer *who is skin and bones* so I get out and try to get her out of the street...and she was infested with ticks...yuck!! but poor thing.  So I drive slow and she follows after a bit I stop put the blanket in the seat and in she comes and she is like I am her best friend now.  I gave her a bath without a fight as most boxers love water.  Pepper and Scout are like no way is she coming in our pen...so outside she stays and then notices kitty sitting in the door, she comes thru the screen and kitty bout jumps out of his skin.  She is now sitting on the porch crying cause she can't come in.  I know somebody had to drop this beautiful animal out.  But WHY MY LORD?    Why did the Good Lord have to give me such a soft heart when it comes to animals?  I hope she will stay around she scarrefed the food down and must have drank water for a solid 10 minutes, now when I found her she was trying to eat "road kill" but come on a dead skunk...so now she has ticks all over and stinks like a skunk..Love life in the country.

I am thinking of calling her Miss Molly.  she is so friendly and can tell she is used to being with people. ...God forgive those horrible people for dumping this beautiful animal.  But thankfully Gina comes to the rescue once again.   Her name became wiggles

Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it’s true
You’re a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

Where do you see God's Fingerprints in your life? This week? This year? Today? In your kids, the sunset, a friend, prayers answered? Check out Becki over at The Rusted Chain for more links to other Fingerprint Fridays

http://www.blog.therustedchain.com/

On the way home from a meeting last evening this beautiful cloud appears out of no where.  I know I get a lot of cloud pictures and post them.  This seems like God loves that I take cloud pictures.  The only song that I could find about anything to do with clouds.

I can't wait to take that ride on the silver lining.

Days of Elijah  <<<CLICK THE LINK TO WATCH THE VIDEO)
There is a song by Judy Jacobs  Days of Elijah

These are the days of Elijah,
Declaring the word of the Lord:
And these are the days of Your servant Moses,
Righteousness being restored.
And though these are days of great trial,
Of famine and darkness and sword,
Still, we are the voice in the desert crying
'Prepare ye the way of the Lord!'

Behold He comes riding on the clouds,
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call;
Lift your voice, it's the year of jubilee,
And out of Zion's hill salvation comes.

These are the days of Ezekiel,
The dry bones becoming as flesh;
And these are the days of Your servant David,
Rebuilding a temple of praise.
These are the days of the harvest,
The fields are as white in Your world,
And we are the labourers in Your vineyard,
Declaring the word of the Lord!

There's no God like Jehovah.
There's no God like Jehovah!

hope everybody has a great n safe weekend
