how fun would have been to live in the days like this again?
I remember wearing apron dresses all the time when I was
just a little tot, seems so long ago. Life was so simple
then, didn't have a care in the world, only wondering
when mom was going to get finished with my new dress
she was making, Clothes were all home made.

It was a lot of hard work and not so much time for leisure as we have now. Hindsight adds a rosy glow to almost anything. :)
ReplyDeleteI was going to teach my daughter to sew then wondered why when I can buy them cheaper than I can make them.
There were good things though. Less throw away attitude. People made things so they lasted and could be handed on when they outgrew them.
