365 days of pictures day 60 downtown Tulsa

This is some of the skyline for downtown Tulsa, there are many more buildings but this seemed like a good shot area :)  Tulsa's history comes from oil.  In the 20's Tulsa had a race-riot, there is a 76 foot, 43,500 pounds in weight, is a statue of a Golden Driller (He has withstood Tornadoes and turbulent oil markets)     There are several famous people from Tulsa  (paul harvey, ,many many more    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa,_Oklahoma  (if you want to learn some more history on Tulsa  click that link.    Tulsa has indoor football (arena football) (hockey) (basketball)(baseball)    There are lots of people relocating to the Tulsa area

  2. Beautiful shots of Tulsa. Thanks for sharing and the history was great insight. Even though we are near neighbors (Amarillo is real close) I did not know the history of Tulsa, thanks for the link.

    Blessings to you and Bob.
