Still alive

howdy fine friends/family
just letting you know I am still alive n kicking.
so here is the scoop,
last week I got sick with bronchitis thankfully I know the symptoms and off to the dr, get zpack fell better ;)
Friday I was so blessed (not) to get that stomach virus going around it is vicous with a capital V one minute you are fine the next you feel like your dying.  Thankfully it only lasted 36 hrs vs 12 days.   From being so sick, I re-injured my left shoulder (I know have some very bad strained muscles/tendons in the left shoulder and a couple torn)  the only good thing is that is not my writing hand.
Went to the park today after work since it was 80 outside and this beautiful wood duck was posing for me.
Things otherwise are going great, went to the dr today and have lost almost 3 pnds since the 1st of Jan ;) but being sick is a hard way to do it.

My great niece n nephew

 this is Justin my great nephew he is 2 1/2 some of you
may remember on my other blog when I posted
him as a new born, my how time has flown.

I haven't seen him since he was 3 days old, my niece thought the family didn't need to be in his life, then moved to AZ for a year and when they came back, not long after I moved to CA
I am going to be a great aunt again, looks like Justin will be getting a baby sis or bro, due on his birthday





This is Cheyenne, my great niece, who will be one the end of Feb
I haven't seen her since 3 days either she is already walking and talking some.  This niece is so different, and keeps me with lots n lots of pictures

love them all so very much.

just enlisted in the USMC today and will be coming to San Diego after high school graduation...I will be able to see him walk across the parade ground  so proud of him

All is Fair in love hodgepodge

and here are my answers

1.  The popular saying 'All is fair in love and war' is originally credited to English writer John Lyly.  Is he right?  That really depends on the definition of fair, there are so many ways we can use that word.

2. Are you a cereal eater?  What's your favorite kind?
I love cereal, and still go with cheerios


3. A five year old in Pennsylvania was recently given a ten day school suspension for talking with a friend about shooting one another with a Hello Kitty Bubble gun (the toy blows bubbles).  She did not have the gun with her at school.   
wow that is harsh, we all played with blow guns as kids, that little girls should not have been punished at school that way!!! where is our principals now?



4. Whatever happened to_______________________?
I was thinking prayer in school or saying the pledge of allegiance as my first guess
but zebra gum..you know the kind that had all the flavors (Fruit stripe, in case you have forgotten this

5. January 23rd is National Handwriting Day, billed as a day to reacquaint yourself with a pen and pencil.  Do you like your handwriting?  Do you prefer to print or write in cursive?  This date was chosen because its the birth date of John Hancock.  What's the last thing you signed your name to? 
I actually still write letters to soldiers, and I still pay my bills by check.  I signed some checks n letters just
today


6.  Speaking of John Hancock, ever been to Philadelphia?  Do you have any desire to visit the city of Brotherly Love?
Have never been to PA but is on my bucket list

this was taken this afternoon.  Went to my favorite park after work, it was so nice outside!! this tree spoke pure beauty to me!!!

Yesterday Monday 1/21/20103 I made a decision out with the old me and in with the new me.
I am going to be more faithful to God as he has always been faithful to me, I am going to loose some weight, and get things back on the right track.

A psychological evaluation was also ordered and the incident was recorded on her permanent record.  The suspension was later reduced to two days and her parents are suing to have the incident removed from her file. Your thoughts?  (If you missed the story click here for details).

Hope everybody had a great weekend, and that you have a Terrific Tuesday!!!
life is going good, ducks head so not to get hit with next curve ball.
I am so excited about the coming days, but am not going to spoil it by letting the cat out of the bag.  Let's just say...it is all I have waited for!!!! Hope you are staying warm (I know there is brutal cold in a lot of the states)  (please keep my family in your prayers as they are in a big deep freeze)  
make sure to check on your elderly neighbors and dont forget the pets

Things are looking up each and every day and it is so nice to be on the topside now instead of always on the down side.

It's Caturday!!!

yayy!!! its Caturday!!! and what a cold Caturday it has been,
good day for watching football and snuggling up
with a book.
Both of the teams won today that I was routing for
YAY!! Ray Lewis may see a super bowl before he retires
and how bout the way the 9'ers played?

However, I know it was COLD in Denver -2 holy cow, and all those dedicated fans sitting in that cold.

and flowers are making it complete.  It will be colored in a couple more weeks, the flowers will
be cranberry with hot pink centers.

The "R" is my given name, but also has some more important meaning to me.  :)  it is a Reminder that
things are going to be happening to me and somebody very special...you know who you are.

Things are going really good this week, and up on the upwards way!!! thank GOD.

why?

this is the sunrise out my window this am too beautiful not to share.

now, why is it that my heart is like a string to those who are around me?
those that I am closet too, think I am of a puppet.  which is not true at all
I have feelings you see, the same as you.  The things you have done to me, I would never do to you.
I am much more compassionate about peoples feelings than this.  I was hoping
with a new year came better things, but it has been worse.  I want to go away
and disappear, nobody would miss me, maybe they wouldn't even notice I am gone.  My heart has been ripped out of my  chest far too many times and it will never happen again.  I may not be around to post on here for a while, but I will post to let you know I am ok, as my blogging friends are important to me
I just need to get away from reality for a bit, and look to the future, whatever
that may bring.  please keep me in your prayers, as I am facing some hard turmoil
once again.  Satan just keeps digging his hands in my back deeper and deeper while I am whits end....I have prayed, and prayed some more but satan isn't going to win!!! I am a fighter and I am tough.
