Honoring Ole Glory

 our flag is in dyer need of replacement
we had 70 + mph wind, the flag liked to have went
flying, we rescued it just before it took off.

The wind didn't do poor Ole Glory any favors
as the storm came out of nowhere unannounced

Reminds me of tattered and  torn flags we think about
during the time Francis Scott Key wrote our national
anthem The Star Spangled Banner. 

This flag will be retiring very soon, we have found
the DAV or local boy scouts will properly dispose of her.

I love my flag!   I will proudly stand anytime anywere
and defend her, with my right hand over my heart,
holding the tears back to what she means to me.

When we stand and say the Pledge of Allegiance then
our National Anthem is proudly played or sung the tears stream down my face, reminding me that many people died so that this flag could  be the symbol of our freedom. 

My heart hurts very badly when I see people disrespecting
her, burning her in hatred *There is only one proper time
of burning*,  I want to go and rescue her, telling
her how sorry I am for the way she has been treated.

Our flag is still our FLAG, it is the symbol of our
freedom, the next time you see her remember this!!

CANCER SUX!!!

Hey all, I normally do not do this but we are desperately needing some help!
Gator went for follow up MRI/CTSCAN on Wed   Friday they called us in the news was not
what we wanted to hear, his cancer is back and incurable but controllable. 
He will be on 2 pills a day for 14 days then chemo the 3rd week. 

These pills are over 60,000 a month (the insurance may pay up to 500 not sure yet)
If you feel so inclined to help us that is great and much appreciated
other wise we just ask for your continued prayers. As we are planning our wedding 34 days
timing couldn't have been any worse. 

Believing in complete healing again, we have to take all measures

for each other for 35 years.  We will be getting married on our 36TH anniversary of him

the smell of skunk after spraying

my quiet place is out on our front porch or a walk down to the pond

3. Do you need/prefer total darkness when you sleep?
yes, even have room darkeners on the windows

4. What is your least favorite taste?
beets

5. How heavily do you rely upon your sense of touch?
very much so, I use it daily

6. Do you mostly prepare your meals at home or do you eat out more?
home, we only eat out 1 or 2 times a month

7. Is there a time of day when you are more likely to buy food already prepared?
if I am running errands and get hungry and that is a maybe

8. What is your average weekly grocery bill (for how many people)?
50 TO 60 a week for 3 PEOPLE

 What is your total restaurant/fast food bill for an average week?
50 a month (do not eat out but 1 OR 2 times a month

9. What is your favorite meal to prepare at home?
we take turns gator and me, hmmm hard to say  maybe homemade tater soup

10. What is your favorite meal to order in a restaurant?
depends on where we go, as we eat Mexican,Chinese, Japanese, Italian

11. Do you believe in fate?
most definitely  this is how gator and I got back together

12. If Karma was to visit you now, would it be kind or kick you in the butt?
Karma would be nice to me I go to bed with a clear conscious at night

13. Do you believe you have lived another life previous to this one?
sometimes I wonder, as I have dajavue and like I have been here or seen something
then ask family if we have ever been to so n so place

14. What do you believe in with an unshakable resolve?
I believe in my faith, i always ask my Heavenly Father for the best solution

15. What one factor influences your life the most?
My spiritual beliefs, knowing that my Heavenly Father is always with me
holding my hand if I should stumble.

in the water.  pays us no attention when feeding

 the barn swallows are just part of the family
they pay us not a bit of attention when we
are sitting on the front porch

 daddy barn swallow is taking egg duty we love watching them as they look like little bats when they fly

2 of gators beautiful guitars  the resinator name is hubcap and freddy is the other one.

Thankful Thursday

I am so far behind on blogging it's unreal  my laptop took a crash last Tuesday (22 May my birthday)

after rebuilding it works great now, but Lord the pictures that I lost *sigh some pictures were of my late dad that I have no where else, for some reason with win 10 it didnt back them up to one drive



I saw the Holy City, the new
 Jerusalem, coming down 
out of heaven from God, 
prepared as a bride, beautifully 
dressed for her husband. 
And I heard a loud voice
 from the throne saying, 
"Now the dwelling of God 
is with men, and he will 
live with them. They will be
 his people, and God himself 
will be with them and be

today I am thankful for so very much! always and every-

day! 

thank you Lord, for my salvation

groceries in the fridge

neighbors helping us while our car is broken down

bills paid once again

my friends dad was called home to glory this week<
thank you Lord he didn't suffer long after finding
terminal pancreatic cancer

my mom still in good health considering she is 81

gator's health is still good : thank you lord for healing
him from stage 4 brain cancer

my legal issue with ex is one step closer to being done

1 MONTH AND 14 days I will marry the love of my life
time is flying!  my dress needs to be pressed (pleats)

have to find gator a shirt that matches

We need to pray for our neighbors, friends, family

our country, our president 

continuing health of gator

anybody who has a need for prayer, you can contact

me and I will be glad to pray with you, for you etc

I am going to step out on a limb, if there is anybody

who needs a shoulder, God has told me that I need to be the person whom you can speak with if you are thinking

or having suicidal thoughts.  After, loosing a very dear

friend to suicide it hit me like a ton of bricks I am 

to be a "go to PERSON" anytime day or night I am here

google hangouts, fb messenger, and even my telephone

will be available if you need

I hope everybody has a fantastic weekend

REMEMBER:  always be kind as we never know

what tomorrow may bring
