Thankful Thursday
Here we are on the most wonderful day of the week
I am thankful for my salvation
forgiveness
rain
sunshine we are getting
everlasting love
our pets who love us unconditionally
neighbors coming to help us get this place cleaned up once and for all
Bucket List Day 2 SUNNY Florida
On the beautiful Atlantic Ocean :) I can't wait to go here warm weather here we come!!! life doesn't get any better than "on the beach"
The ocean is another one of God's mighty power, I felt like a pebble of sand standing out over looking the mighty ocean.
All of your worries seem like we specks of dust when you come upon the ocean, or at least mine did.Living and being near the ocean is such an awesome place to be, seeing the dolphins, sharks, pelicans, gulls, and all the other little beach birds all in their natural habitat. Life doesn't get any better than that. Playing with the pelicans, petting the dolphins, and finding that perfect sea shell, there is nothing like listening to life through a sea shell.

Bucket list Day 1 California
the Golden Gate Bridge & La Jolla Cove
The Golden Gate has always been very intriguing to me, imagine the manpower and work it took to build this awesome monument.
11 men lost their lives in the building of the bridge, due to falls. I would be the one falling off as the ground was moving beneath me, and looking down at the water ...PHEW!!!! get me out of there.
Would love to hear your feed back if at all possible.

Hola amigos, and welcome to the merry month of May and the Wednesday Hodgepodge! If you've answered this week's questions add your link at the end of my post, and if you haven't answered, what are you waiting for? Also, be sure and say hello to your next door neighbor on the linky list before running off, because that's what good neighbors do.
Please be sure and read my random thought today as it contains Hodgepodge business. I'm sure nobody skips by my answers, but on the off chance somebody does, I'd thought I'd mention it here. Okay, here we go-
1. Can you tell I'm embracing a Cinco de Mayo theme here this week? Do you like Mexican food? What's your favorite dish? How about on the side-black beans, pinto beans, refried beans, rice? What about heat-mild, medium, hot? Will you celebrate with Mexican food and drink on May 5th aka Cinco de Mayo?
Yes love Cinco de Mayo I absolutely love Mexican food, Enchilada *chicken* black beans and cilantro lime rice. medium heat for me YES for the first time ever
2. Ever been to Mexico? For work or holiday? Love it or no? If you haven't been is this a place you'd like to visit? Can you speak Spanish?
Yes I have been to Mexico briefly was for a mini vacation the trip was fun yes, and yes I want to go to Cozumel No I don't speak any Spanish.
3. What's one thing you may accomplish this month?
Well this month I will be celebrating the BIG 50 so this itself is an accomplishment
4. If you were mayor of your village, city, or town, what's one thing you'd like to see changed, done away with, revamped, or accomplished? Is serving in public office something you've ever seriously considered?
The first thing that I would do is work on the flood control, and fix some of the many pot or chug holes . I was an officer in FCLA, FHA, and also band I have never considered this option at all
5. What's something that may be popular, but that you just don't get?
Mylie Cyrus being daughters role model....
6. Can't let this week slip by without mentioning Thursday May 4th is Star Wars Day. As in 'May the 4th be with you' ahem. Are you a fan of the Star Wars series? Exactly how much of a fan are you? On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being 'I've seen every film, own the action figures, might have dressed as Darth Vader for Halloween one year', and 1 being, 'what's a Vader?' -where do you land?
I am a fan, Loved the original I have seen not all of the shows, I own an unopened box of metal cards from the original shows, and unopened vcr tapes. I have the entire star wars collection of M & Ms
several princes leah figurines. I would say I land at 8 on this list May the 4th be with you
7. Scroll back through your blog posts and in three sentences or less tell us the general theme of your fourth blog post. Does it still ring true today? Is it a topic you re-visit on your blog from time to time?
I have been blogging since 2009 Joyce I rememeber your very first blog post (My life in a blog was my blog then) thanks so somebody stealing that identity here I am again hopefully for the last time setting up a new blog. My fourth post is usually Thankful Thursday and looking back every Thankful Thursday is true today.

When you have found your way back to your first true love after 34 years, and the feelings are like they have never left. Life is great when you go thru it with Love not fighting all of the time.
