365 days of pictures day 165 New Hair Cut before and after

These pics were taken on Sunday in my new blouse by self timing 

Ok I know it isn't the best but hey you can at least see me  

the two on top in the animal print blouse  although I was under the 

weather...they are ok

the two below were taken today after I got my hair cut...I still have

bronchitis and on the upside of getting better.  I am 44

and never had a problem with my face breaking out..until the reaction

to the medication...ugh I guess 

poison has to come out. One way or other

and cant put writing beside my pics.

I am seeing...snowflakes falling to the ground

Mom n dad (meme and day) say you are all boy and

 into everything you can get your hand on.  I didn't get to 

see you Christmas as your mom was being stubborn and 

wanted Christmas with you instead of with us...maybe one 

day she will understand her family is important.

the weather and doing computer work, blogs and
such are hard when you have a sinus headache, along
with bronchitis...YUCK

Rainbows Rants walmart pharmacy

OK yea they fill while you shop!!! NOT an hour and a half later they finally sent the text to my phone saying my RX's were ready yippee finally
I can go home after all if I need Rx's I am sick right?

So I get my prescriptions all 3 of them  2 inhalers and tussinex for cough
I am in full blown bronchitis so coughing isn't a joke as I have coughed so
much my ribs hurt.

ME:  to pharmacist does this cough medicine have codeine in it? as I am highly allergic to codeine.....I know hydrocodone was a codeine derivative
as I once was a pharmacy tech.  I specifically ask....

PHARMACIST:  says well most people can take hydrocodone that cant take codeine...PFFT  and that you should be ok...so against my better judgement I buy said RX

ME:  I walk away in dismay as I can't believe what the pharmacist had just told me....and sicker than crap I AM NOT DUMB I know what my body can do and not.

so out the store I go...thankfully said RX was only $7.00 I would have been upset more if it had been more.

I have been taking robitiussin dm to break it up....however  when I go to bed I take the tussinex so that I can try to sleep.  I go to sleep and 2 hrs later have a rude awakening...wth is going on....I fell like I am having a heart attack..but remember what happened one other time when I took something that had codeine in it...
and going to the ER they told me it was pancreatitis ... so I get out of bed cautiously  go the bathroom and get a HOT rag to put on my stomach.....as that relaxes the pancreas so it will quit spazzing.
I go back to sleep and 15 minutes later another one...this time hurting more UGH!!! same routine
back to sleep I go....30 minutes I kid you not I had an attack that thought I was going to die....I try to get up
I am so dizzy that I can't see and feeling nauseated barely making it to the toilet so that I can try to throw up after though I feel so much better....off to bed I go...and sleep till almost noon, I guess I needed the sleep.

MY rant is ...if you tell your pharmacist that you are allergic..Please insist even if it is a derivative for something...please request something else!!! yes most people may be able to take the synthetic stuff..but that one person may not and could cost them their life...now if I had not know what was going on...I would have sworn I was having a heart attack.  If you have a codeine allergy..please look at all the stuff (rx) that has
codeine in it and PERSIST YOUR DR. GIVES YOU SOMETHING DIFFERENT.  there is a lot of pain pills that do not have codeine in them but not so much on the elixir.

If this post will help at least one person this is worth my RANT and sharing!!!

wow the temps have been awesome!!! the dandelions are popping up everywhere..unheard of!! I am no

complaining at all.  70* today.

The Ring

The top pic is my beautiful engagement ring,

  it is so perfect.  tears came to my eyes when I received 

it in the mail .....the bottom pic is both rings together :)

The engagement ring is one of life’s small-yet-powerful details that signify change, expectation and celebration. 

The engagement ring,when matched with the also-important wedding band, creates a 

shimmering reminder of love’s power, dedication and devotion. It’s the piece of jewelry 

that’s worn every day.

I hold in my hand two beautiful rings, symbolic of a binding contract to be given and received as

PROJECTS

Not like OK has enough construction, and now we need more!!!! this road has 25,000+ cars a day going down it...so now they need to widen...I know I will be avoiding this area

WOW a big building going down the street,,,looks like a project in the making for me  hey they can just bring it to my house.

 these guys are working on a street project

after dark, so that the traffic wont be so bad

 Somebody at my table got creative while I went to the
restroom...this was headbands....they put them together
and put in an opened beer bottle..NO I WASN'T DRINKING

and we can't forget Mr. Caz.  He is the 

king of the table!!!  Normally he doesn't get 

on the table..but it isn't used as a table as you can see it is in the corner.

Took this on the way home from
my parents this evening.

This is another reason I love the sunsets
here in OK we have some of the most beautiful sunsets one could
imagine.  Taken about 5:45 in the evening.
I can't wait for Bob to be here with me to witness the most
amazing and beautiful sunsets.

Bob and I will be together again soon and looking forward to what the future has
in store for us.  After all, it is a new year (and a leap year at that)so it is ok for a gal to ask the guy out this year (sadie hawkins) hehe and good things are in store for us.

LIVE LIKE TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF YOUR LIFE.

What does love mean to you?

Perhaps it is the eyes that sparkle a million sparkles? the beautiful smile? the caring?
 the way your heart feels? The way you feel when you hear "I LOVE YOU"


Everybody has that special someone that makes them feel really in love.  It is not only the outside, but it is the inner person
as well that is beautiful.


Here is a poem that  I wrote to Bob 



Love is missing someone whenever you're apart, 
But somehow feeling warm inside because you're close in heart.


Now, what love means to me is finding the one that really makes your day, you will never know how much it means when that special person calls just to say? how are you doing today?  nothing more just seeing how you are.   or when I hear I LOVE YOU.  that makes me so weak in the knees that I can't even hardly stand.  The way your voice quivers when you say those 3 words.  You would just have to be there to totally
understand.    
Bob is the most wonderful man in the world, I am so very fortunate to have found my love, my best friend, my soul~mate, my everything.
We have had our ups and downs....and have some very trying times of lately but guess what? that has made our love even stronger.  Every
road block we face, makes us grow stronger.   
Now Bob is the kindest, caring person a person could ever imagine, 
I am not sure why the Good Lord blessed me with such a caring, loving person...but baby I am not complaining at all.  
The Lord truly blessed me that golden day back in June of 2010, I never knew what I was missing.  
I have found "True Love" for the first time in my life, they say you only find that one time!!!! may have taken me 43 years to find it but WOW
did we find it at a time we both needed.


Bob and I will be together again soon, and looking forward to the memories we will hold forever as well as the memories we will be making in the future.
